Transferring HYPE tokens

Wraith Wallet gives you full support for managing HYPE tokens across Hyperliquid L1 and HyperEVM. You can move tokens between the two layers to access different features - trading on L1 or using smart contracts on HyperEVM.

⚠️ Most centralised exchanges do not yet support HyperEVM. If your HYPE tokens are not showing in your wallet, you may need to transfer them from L1 to EVM or vice versa.

Step 1 - Connect Wraith Wallet

On your mobile browser, go to https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/.

Tap Connect.

Choose WalletConnect and select Wraith Wallet.

Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Confirm the connection by signing in Wraith Wallet.

Step 2 - Transfer from Hyperliquid L1 to HyperEVM

Open the Portfolio tab in Hyperliquid.

Scroll down to see your token balances. If you withdrew HYPE from a centralised exchange, it will appear here.

Tap Transfer to EVM.

Enter the amount of HYPE you want to move.

Confirm the transaction in Wraith Wallet.

Once complete, your HYPE tokens will appear under HyperEVM in Wraith Wallet.

Step 3 - Transfer from HyperEVM to Hyperliquid L1

Open the Portfolio tab in Hyperliquid again.

Tap Transfer to EVM, but this time choose to transfer from EVM → L1.

Enter the amount to move back.

Confirm the transaction in Wraith Wallet.

The tokens will now be visible again under Hyperliquid L1.

Tips for safe transfers

Always start with a small test transaction when using a new process.

Check which network your exchange supports before withdrawing HYPE.

Remember that HYPE on L1 and HYPE on EVM are fungible but only recognised where supported.
