Staking Osmosis (OSMO) allows you to earn rewards while contributing to the security of the Osmosis network. This guide walks you through staking OSMO using Wraith Wallet step by step.

How to stake OSMO on Wraith Wallet​

Step 1 - Fund your Osmosis wallet​

Ensure your Osmosis wallet in Wraith Wallet is funded with OSMO.

You can buy OSMO directly within Wraith Wallet by tapping Buy.

Alternatively, purchase OSMO from exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, or Kraken and then transfer to your Wraith Wallet.

⚠️ Always double-check the receiving address to avoid losing funds.

Step 2 - Open the stake screen​

Open your Osmosis wallet in Wraith Wallet.

Tap Stake.

Review the displayed APR and lock period details.

Tap Stake again to continue.

Step 3 - Choose a validator​

Validators run the network and process transactions. You delegate your OSMO to one when staking.

Step 4 - Enter stake amount​

Enter the amount of OSMO you want to stake.

Leave a small amount in your wallet to cover network fees.

Tap Continue.

Step 5 - Confirm the stake transaction​

Review the stake details carefully, including validator and amount.

Tap Confirm.

Wait for the transaction to be finalised on the Osmosis network.

Current staking rewards average around 5.6% APR (subject to change).

Rewards begin immediately but must be claimed manually.

Actual returns vary depending on the validator selected.

Unstaking your OSMO​

Your tokens remain locked for 14 days once unstaked.

Go to your staking details.

Tap Manage → Unstake.

Enter the amount of OSMO to unstake and confirm.
