Staking Cosmos (ATOM) with Wraith Wallet

Staking Cosmos (ATOM) allows you to earn rewards by helping secure the Cosmos network. This guide will take you through each step required to stake ATOM using Wraith Wallet.

How to stake ATOM on Wraith Wallet​

Step 1 - Fund your Cosmos wallet​

Make sure your Cosmos wallet in Wraith Wallet is funded with ATOM.

You can buy ATOM directly in Wraith Wallet by tapping Buy and selecting the amount.

Alternatively, purchase ATOM from exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, or Kraken and transfer them to your Wraith Wallet.

⚠️ Always double-check the wallet address when transferring ATOM to avoid mistakes.

Step 2 - Open the stake screen​

Open your Cosmos wallet in Wraith Wallet.

Tap Stake.

Review the APR and lock time details displayed.

Tap Stake to continue.

Step 3 - Choose a validator​

Validators are responsible for maintaining the Cosmos network. When you stake, you delegate your ATOM to them.

High uptime

Low commission rates

A strong community reputation

Step 4 - Enter stake amount​

Enter the amount of ATOM you want to stake.

Ensure you leave some ATOM in your wallet for transaction fees.

Tap Continue.

Step 5 - Confirm the stake transaction​

Review the validator details and stake amount.

Tap Confirm.

Wait for the transaction to be processed by the Cosmos network.

Current rewards average around 13.9% APR (subject to change).

Rewards start accruing immediately but must be claimed manually.

Your actual rewards may vary based on validator performance.

Unstaking your ATOM​

When unstaking ATOM, your tokens remain locked for 21 days.

Open your staking details in Wraith Wallet.

Tap Manage → Unstake.

Enter the amount to unstake and confirm.
