Stake issues

Common stake issues and solutions

Here are the most common problems you might face when staking through Wraith Wallet, along with fixes.

Staking transaction failed

Issue: Your staking transaction doesn’t go through, or you receive an error message.

Solution:

Check that you have enough balance to cover both the staked amount and the transaction fee

Verify your wallet address and staking details before confirming

If staking with a third-party validator, confirm they are operational and that you meet the minimum staking requirements

Rewards not received

Issue: You have staked your assets, but no rewards have appeared.

Solution:

Check the reward cycle for the blockchain you are staking on (some only distribute rewards weekly or monthly)

Verify whether the validator has a delay in reward distribution

Make sure you haven’t accidentally un-staked your tokens, as this would interrupt rewards

Unable to un-stake assets

Issue: You want to un-stake your tokens but see errors or restrictions.

Solution:

Confirm if there is a mandatory lock-up period on the network before you can un-stake

Some protocols allow only full un-staking, not partial - check the rules of the staking contract

If the un-stake still fails, contact support with your transaction details

Incorrect staking balance displayed

Issue: The staking balance shown in your wallet doesn’t match the amount you staked.

Solution:

Refresh Wraith Wallet to update your balance

Check if the network requires additional confirmations for the transaction

If the discrepancy persists, contact support and include your transaction hash and a screenshot
