Common receive issues and solutionsโ
Here are the most common problems you might face when receiving crypto into Wraith Wallet, and how to solve them.
Delayed transactionsโ
Issue: A transaction was sent to your wallet, but it hasnโt appeared yet.
Causes:
Network congestion causing slower confirmations
Low transaction fees on the senderโs side
Limited block capacity during busy times
Solution:
Check the transaction status on a blockchain explorer (e.g. Etherscan, Tronscan, BscScan) using the TxID or your wallet address
Allow extra time during periods of high activity
If the transaction is confirmed on-chain but not showing, refresh Wraith Wallet or contact support with details
Unsupported tokensโ
Issue: You received a token, but it doesnโt appear in your wallet.
Causes:
The token is not yet supported by Wraith Wallet
The token is new or obscure, and metadata isnโt in the walletโs database
It was sent on a blockchain that Wraith Wallet doesnโt currently support
Solution:
Verify the transaction on a blockchain explorer
Manually add the token by entering its contract address (see: [How to add a custom token in Wraith Wallet])
Check that the blockchain network is supported
Incorrect receiving addressโ
Issue: Crypto was sent to the wrong address. Transactions cannot be reversed.
Causes:
Typing errors in the address
Copy - paste mistakes
Malicious clipboard or browser extensions altering the address
Solution:
Always double-check the address
Use QR codes where possible
If unsure, receive a small test transaction before larger transfers
Wallet not syncedโ
Issue: Your transaction is confirmed on the blockchain but not showing in Wraith Wallet.
Causes:
Poor internet connection
Node connectivity issues
The app hasnโt refreshed properly
Solution:
Confirm the transaction on a blockchain explorer
Check your internet connection
Close and reopen Wraith Wallet
Switch to a different node in Settings > Network
If the problem persists, contact support with your wallet address and transaction ID
