Import a watch wallet

What is a watch wallet?

A watch wallet is a read-only wallet. It lets you view balances and monitor activity on a blockchain address without being able to make transactions. This is useful for tracking cold storage wallets such as Ledger or Trezor.

⚠️ Important You cannot send, swap, or stake crypto from a watch wallet.

How to import a watch wallet in Wraith Wallet

Step 1 - Launch Wraith Wallet

Open Wraith Wallet and tap on Import an existing wallet. Choose the blockchain you want to watch. For this example, we’ll import an Ethereum wallet.

Step 2 - Enter the address

Instead of typing a recovery phrase, tap on Address. Type or paste the public address you want to monitor.

Step 3 - Confirm import

The wallet will be created as a watch-only wallet. You can now view balances and transactions linked to that address.

ℹ️ Note The Send and Swap buttons are disabled in a watch wallet.
