How to receive crypto in Wraith Wallet

Receiving crypto in Wraith Wallet

Wraith Wallet allows you to receive crypto from an exchange, another wallet, or directly from a friend. Each token has its own address depending on the blockchain, so always check carefully before depositing.

⚠️ Important If you send tokens to the wrong network or address type, your funds may be lost.

Receiving crypto from an exchange

ℹ️ Note For this example, we’ll receive SEI from Binance into Wraith Wallet.

Step 1 - Open Wraith Wallet

Go to your SEI wallet and tap on Receive. Copy your SEI deposit address (and memo if shown).

Step 2 - Go to Binance

On Binance, go to Wallet > Fiat and Spot > Withdraw. Select SEI, paste your Wraith Wallet deposit address, add the memo if required, and enter the withdrawal amount.

Step 3 - Confirm withdrawal

Review the details, confirm the withdrawal, and wait for the transaction to complete. Your SEI will arrive in Wraith Wallet once the blockchain confirms it.

Receiving crypto from another wallet

ℹ️ Note Here we’ll receive Bitcoin (BTC) from Xverse to Wraith Wallet.

Step 1 - Copy your Wraith Wallet address

In Wraith Wallet, go to your BTC wallet and tap Receive. Copy the BTC address shown.

Once confirmed, the BTC will appear in Wraith Wallet after the required confirmations.

Using QR codes

Each Wraith Wallet deposit address has a QR code for easier sharing. You can show your QR code in person or share it digitally for someone else to scan.

Network fee considerations

Some exchanges deduct network fees from the amount you withdraw. The amount you receive in Wraith Wallet may be slightly lower than the amount you entered.

Always leave a balance of the native token (BNB, TRX, etc.) in your wallet if you plan to move the funds later.

πŸ’‘ Tip Always double-check the network. For example, sending USDT from Binance to your Wraith Wallet requires choosing the correct version (ERC-20, TRC-20, SPL, etc.).
