How to get started with Tether (USDT) in Wraith Wallet

Tether (USDT) is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, making it a reliable choice for payments, trading, and storing value. This guide explains how to set up a USDT wallet in Wraith Wallet, download the app, and secure your funds properly.

Step 1: Download and install Wraith Wallet

Visit the official site: Go to the Wraith Wallet website and click Download, or find it in your device’s app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS).

Install and open: Once installed, launch the Wraith Wallet app on your device.

Step 2: Create a new wallet

Set up your wallet: Open Wraith Wallet and tap Create New Wallet. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Back up your recovery phrase: Wraith Wallet will generate a 12-word recovery phrase. Write it down on paper and keep it offline in a safe place. Do not store it digitally (screenshots, cloud storage, or emails).

Step 3: Add a USDT wallet

Add USDT: Tap Manage Token List and search for β€œTether” or β€œUSDT”. Choose the blockchain network you want to use (Ethereum ERC-20, Tron TRC-20, or others). For this example, we’ll add a TRC-20 wallet on the Tron blockchain.

Get your USDT address: Tap on your USDT wallet and select Receive to generate your deposit address and QR code.

Step 4: Keep your USDT wallet secure

Protect your recovery phrase: Never share your phrase with anyone. Treat it as the key to your funds.

Watch out for scams: Be cautious of phishing links or unsolicited requests for wallet details.

Keep the app updated: Install updates regularly to ensure you have the latest security patches and features.
