Why migrate Bybit Web3 Wallet to Wraith Wallet?​

Bybit Web3 Wallet is a non-custodial crypto wallet integrated with the Bybit exchange, supporting chains like Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Solana. It offers token swaps, staking, NFT storage, and dApp connectivity.

Wraith Wallet is a self-custodial, open-source wallet built for privacy, simplicity, and multi-chain support. With Wraith, you can manage Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and many more blockchains in one place. Migrating is simple because both wallets use recovery phrases, so you can restore your Bybit wallet directly in Wraith Wallet without moving funds.

Step-by-step guide to migrate from Bybit Web3 Wallet to Wraith Wallet​

Step 1 - Back up your Bybit Web3 Wallet recovery phrase​

Open the Bybit app or extension.

Go to the Web3 tab and open Preferences.

Select the wallet you want to migrate.

Tap Seed phrase, authenticate, then reveal your 12 or 24-word recovery phrase.

Write it down securely and keep it offline.

⚠️ Never share your recovery phrase. It grants full control of your wallet.

Step 2 - Install Wraith Wallet​

Visit the official site: https://wraithwallet.com/

Download Wraith Wallet for iOS or Android.

Install and open the app.

Step 3 - Import your Bybit Web3 Wallet into Wraith Wallet​

On the Wraith Wallet welcome screen, tap Import an existing wallet.

Select Multi-coin wallet.

Enter your recovery phrase from Bybit exactly as it was revealed.

Tap Import.

Your balances, tokens, and NFTs will now appear in Wraith Wallet.

Step 4 - Secure your Wraith Wallet​

Double-check that your recovery phrase is stored safely offline.

Enable extra security features such as PIN codes or biometrics.

If you no longer need it, you may uninstall Bybit Web3 Wallet - though both wallets can be used in parallel.

Notes​

Migrating does not move assets on-chain; it simply restores your wallet in Wraith Wallet.

Perform the migration on a secure device and avoid public Wi-Fi.

This guide applies only to Bybit’s Seed Phrase Wallet. Keyless and Cloud Wallets cannot be migrated.
